| Keeping it together |
I have been in the past apart of some very heated
historical battles and involved in flame wars
over the history of Choy Lee Fut. Intitially my
participation was meant to learn what people knew.
In the end, it wasn't a good thing for our great
gung fu family. Now, since no one wanted to step
forward and try and bring some unity, I decided
it was best to use my energy to promote Choy Lee
Fut as one great family instead of 3 separate
branches. However, there are still some out
there that would love to tear down this attempt
at uniting our families. Still, this is just one
or two people who are trying to block this from
happening. I will not say their names, but those
people know who they are, and so do others.
Choy Lee Fut needs to unite, and bring back some
peace into our worlds. One day I would love to
see Modern Day Choy Lee Fut schools teaching Choy
Lee Fut of our 3 great founders (Chan Heung,
Jeong Yim, and Tam Sam). Well, it is a dream.
But who know?

Much of my resources for the Chan Family Came
from English Translations by Chan Yong Fa on
www.clfsd.com/hist.htm, and Master Fu Hang Ng's
WWW. clfkf.com and other chan family related
sites as resources.
My ressources for the Buk Sing Lineage coms from
both buksing.com and pantherfist.com as well as
other relative material i've collected throught
the years.
what I've done was take their stories and re-
write them in my own words in strict accordance
to each branhes account.
I have not created this site for money or
material gain. Only to honor our gung fu
ancestors and hopefully they notice I am trying
to bring us together.
Rest In Peace ancestors.

| A message From Sifu Frank McCarthy |
On March 15 2006 I launched this website in honor
and respect for our Choy Lee Fut elders. This
site is in no way intended to defame, discredit,
or speak negatively of any other branch.
The Choy Lee Fut system in truly one great system
however it has been broken down into 3 great
Families. Since the creation of Choy Lee Fut in
the 1800's the original methods have long since
been lost, still the essence of what our gung fu
forefathers put forth is still appearant in all 3
well known branches.
So by launching this website I sincerely hope i
gain the respect of our CLF brotherhood since I
truly did so with the best of all intentions.
Pls feel free to leave me a message here in our
blog.
